First Session Prep Instructions
Each step must be completed before your first session, to prevent wasted time during the session.
Step 1: Download the Zoom Workplace App
Choose one of the following links applicable to your device.
Though Laptop/Tablet is preffered for our lessons, you can also find this app on mobile.
Android - Access your playstore and search for "Zoom Workplace"
iOS (iPhone) - Access the appstore and search for "Zoom Workplace"
Step 2: Create a Zoom account & Sign-In
1. Open the Zoom Workplace app, and create an account.
2. Sign-in to your account via the Zoom Workplace app.
Step 3: Enabling "Original Sound for Musicians"
This step is essential for allowing students to get the best out of sessions.
Enabling for Windows
1. Open the Zoom Workplace app.
2. Open settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner. (You can also find settings by clicking on your profile and selecting "settings" in the dropdown)
3. Select the "Audio" section on the left side of the window.
4. Scroll down to "Audio Profile", and check the boxes:

Enabling for Mac
1. Open the Zoom Workplace app.
2. Click the "Zoom Workplace" dropdown on the top left corner of the screen.
3. Navigate to settings.
4. Select the "Audio" section on the left side of the window.
5. Scroll down to "Audio Profile", and check the boxes:
