How Our Method Works

 

Our academy offers "Guided Practice sessions", instead of typical 60 minute lessons — for a fraction of the cost.

•  What is "Guided practice"?

  • You get several mini-sessions with the teacher throughout the entire 90 minute practice session.

  • Hit a roadblock in your practice? Your teacher will be there soon to help you develop a new strategy.

  • Many opportunities to ask questions, get help, and refine your playing throughout the session.

What does "Guided practice" offer that traditional lessons can't?

• The ability to truly practice your teacher's tips in real time.

• No time to forget what your teacher said.

• Students can actually practice with accountability.

• Practice sessions have structure and purpose.

• If something doesn’t click initially during practice, your teacher will be available to help you develop a new approach within a few minutes.

• Less hassle as there is no commute or gas money spent, as all sessions are held on zoom.

• Overall cost is less than most private lessons!

During each 90 minute session, you only pay for the direct coaching time — all supervised practice is completely free.

• For each 90 minute session, the student gets 20+ minutes of focused one-on-one coaching, and around 70 minutes of supervised practice.

• If you compare only the one-on-one time: my rate is similar to traditional lessons at 45-60$ per hour of direct coaching.

• But in my class, the same $60 potentially gets you up to 6 whole hours of quality coaching with my      4 Sessions/Week plan!

• To break it down, that's 80 minutes of one-on-one coaching plus nearly 4.5 hours of supervised practice under my 4 session per week plan.
